The Authorities of West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has releaseda statement via its Twitter account stating the commencement of 2017/18 Registration for GCE.

The exam formerly known as Nov/Dec Exam has been changed since the examination is not done in Nov/Dec, it’s now called WASSCE for Private Candidates.E.g WASSCE for PC, 2017.

According to the screenshot below we are meant to understand that the WASSCE For Private Candidates also known as November/December GCE Registration is scheduled to begin from April, 2017.

The Examination is meant for private students and not for school candidates.
